Thank you so much for sharing this with the rest of us. We can’t not let our guard down at all, I attended a internet safety class at school and was shock of all the extra danger that lurk around our kids this days. However I wasn’t aware of this one. Thank you so much for sharing .
Yes, online grooming was not mentioned. Maybe because it is not as common as internet addiction or cyberbullying, and that is a good thing. However, the danger is real and we do need parents to know how to teach their children to look out for signs of grooming.
Thank you so much for writing this and for being so detailed in outlining all the steps the groomers take. Really appreciate this. This is extremely important for parents and caretakers to know how we can protect our children.
Thank you for your kind words. Do help to share the post so more parents become aware of the threat of online grooming and the signs of online grooming going on. I have had readers who went through the post with their teens so the teens themselves know what to look out for. Once our children become aware of the signposts, they will be able to identify groomers themselves and steer clear. So I thank you in advance for sharing this post with your friends and network.
Thank you for sharing this. Thank goodness you discovered the incident before it was too late. Thank goodness you walked in when C was using Discord and therefore you noticed her guilty behaviour.
The groomer sounded really malicious and cunning. Shocking!!
Thank you so much, Min! Yes, please share the article. Together we can raise awareness to the roof and cast light on the dark magic of online grooming.
